In recent years, I have focused mostly on public diplomacy, World Expos, and higher education. But I also have professional experience in fields as diverse as video editing, fraud detection, and patents translation.

In 2008, I graduated from the BA in International Relations at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where later I taught courses on North America and Research Methods.
As part of my BA, I received an UNAM scholarship to study political science courses at McGill University, and I participated in a pilot program on International Cooperation with Växjö University (now Linnaeus University). My BA thesis studies the participation of Mexico and Canada at Expo 2005 Aichi. It received an award from the Research Center on North America of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (CISAN-UNAM).
In 2011, I graduated from the MA in Public Diplomacy at the University of Southern California (USC), which I attended with Fulbright-García Robles and CONACYT scholarships, and the support of the Central Bank of Mexico and FUNED. As part of my MA in Public Diplomacy program, I worked with the Deputy Major for Strategic Partnerships at the City of Los Angeles under a Fulbright Public Policy Grant.
